Maeil Ilbo = Reporter Lee Yong | FC Seoul Na Sang-ho won the April ‘EA SPORTS K LEAGUE Player Of The Month’ sponsored by Electronic Arts (EA), the K-League’s official video game partner.
The EA SPORTS K-League Player of the Month award selects candidates through a vote (60%) of the Federation TSG Technical Committee among the players selected as MOM (Match Distinguished Player), Best Eleven, and MVP of the K-League 1 matches held during the month.
For the candidates selected by the TSG Technical Committee, fan voting (25%) and E’FIFA Online 4′ user voting (15%) were additionally conducted through the K-League official website, and the highest conversion score was obtained by adding the three items. One player will win the ‘Player of the Month’ award.
The April Player of the Month award was evaluated for a total of six matches from rounds 5 to 10 of the K-League 1. Candidates include Go Young-jun (Pohang), Na Sang-ho (Seoul), Ras (Suwon FC), and Lee Jin-hyeon (Daejeon). As a result of the voting, Seoul Na Sang-ho, who received overwhelming support from the TSG Technical Committee, K-League fans, and user votes, won the April Player of the Month award.
Na Sang-ho, who has established himself as the ace of Seoul this season, showed the best scoring pace by scoring 6 goals in 6 games to be evaluated. In addition, Na Sang-ho won two rounds of Best Eleven and one round of MVP in April alone.
Na Sang-ho’s Player of the Month award is the first in his personal career, and his team Seoul is the third award-winning player after Ki Sung-yong (March 2021, September 2021). Na Sang-ho, who became the main character of the K-League in April, will be given a trophy and prize money produced by EA SPORTS.
