Seven individuals, identified as members of a “South American Theft Group (SATG),” were apprehended on Friday in connection with two burglaries in the Phoenix metropolitan area. The Burglaries
The two burglaries occurred on May 23, one in Tempe and the other in Mesa.According to police reports, the suspects targeted residences, allegedly coordinating their activities at both locations.

The Scottsdale Police Department was alerted to the group’s presence on May 20 by the Burbank Police Department in California.The Burbank authorities warned of an SATG group from Colombia suspected of committing burglaries in California, Oregon, and Washington, and possibly heading to Arizona.

Each suspect is being held in the Maricopa county Jail on $150,000 cash-only bonds, facing numerous criminal charges.
