7 people sent to hospital after multi-car crash with logging truck in Massachusetts

Templeton, MA‌ – September 15, 2025 – Seven individuals were transported to area hospitals ‍Sunday afternoon following⁣ a multi-vehicle collision involving a tractor-trailer ‌carrying logs‌ on ‌Route 2 in Templeton and phillipston, Massachusetts. Teh crash prompted a complete closure of the⁤ highway in both directions for several​ hours as emergency responders worked the scene.

The incident occurred as authorities investigated the cause of the collision. Massachusetts State Police are leading the investigation, and details regarding the circumstances ⁤leading to the crash⁣ have not yet⁢ been released. The highway has as ⁤reopened to ⁣traffic.

According to reporting from CBS news, the crash involved multiple cars and a logging truck. Emergency medical services evaluated numerous individuals at the scene, ultimately ‌transporting seven people to hospitals wiht unspecified injuries.

Route 2 ​was shut down in both‍ directions between Templeton and Phillipston while police and rescue crews responded.phillipston is located approximately ‍30 miles northwest ⁤of ⁢Worcester and‌ nearly 80‍ miles west of Boston.
