Haie Secure 3-1 Victory Over Iserlohn in PINKTOBER Home Game
COLOGNE, GERMANY – The Cologne Sharks (Haie) defeated the Iserlohn Roosters 3-1 Saturday night at Lanxess Arena in a high-intensity matchup designated as the club’s annual PINKTOBER game supporting breast cancer awareness. the win caps a six-point weekend for the Haie, fueled by a strong second and third period performance and a late empty-net goal.
The game remained scoreless through the first 20 minutes, characterized by tight defense from both sides.Iserlohn broke the deadlock in the 27th minute with a goal from daniel Fischbuch. However, the Haie responded quickly, tying the game at 1-1 in the 34th minute with a powerful shot from Valtteri Kemiläinen during a power play. Dominik Bokk then gave Cologne the lead at 2-1 in the 39th minute following a combination play with MacLeod and Mo Müller.
