The Venice High School football team is gearing up for the 2025 season, with their schedule officially released.The defending state champions will kick off their campaign with a Kickoff Classic matchup against Gadsden County on august 15th at 7:30 p.m.
Following their season opener, the Indians will hit the road for consecutive away games. They face Tampa Bay Tech on august 22nd at 7:30 p.m., and than travel to Miami Northwestern on August 29th, also at 7:30 p.m.
The month of September sees Venice hosting Bishop Verot on the 5th at 7:30 p.m., followed by a home game against Port Charlotte on September 12th at 7:30 p.m. They will then host Orlando The First Academy on September 19th at 7:30 p.m., before concluding the month with a home game against Lehigh on September 26th at 7:30 p.m.
October begins with a highly anticipated home game against IMG academy National on October 3rd at 7:30 p.m. The Indians will then host riverview on October 10th at 7:30 p.m., and Clearwater Central Catholic on October 17th at 7:30 p.m.The month wraps up with an away game against Sarasota on October 24th at 7:30 p.m., followed by a bye week on October 31st.

The Venice indians are coming off a successful 2024 season, culminating in a state championship victory. The team’s 2025 schedule aims to build on that momentum, featuring a mix of challenging opponents and familiar rivals as they pursue another title.
