Snow conditions were blamed for an airplane slipping off the runway at O'Hare International Airport late Saturday morning after landing.
According to airline spokeswoman Natalie Noonan, United Airlines Flight 656 from Phoenix to Chicago rolled off the concrete surface due to weather conditions.
No one was injured, but the firefighters helped 129 passengers out of the plane after slipping into a grassy area, Chief Fire Curtis Hudson of Chicago Fire said.
It happened during the scheduled landing of the flight.
A shuttle bus took the customers to the terminal, Noonan said.
