ANN ARBOR, MI – Zach Bryan has made history, playing to the largest ticketed concert audience ever in the United States with 112,408 fans at Michigan Stadium on Saturday. The milestone was announced by Bryan to his nearly 5 million Instagram followers in a now-expired Story.
“Hey everyone!” Bryan said,according to parade. “get ready with us, we’re about to play the biggest ticketed show in American history!”
The record-breaking performance featured a special guest appearance by John Mayer, who expressed his gratitude for being part of the event.”This weekend,I took part in the largest ticketed event in U.S. concert history, thanks to @zachlanebryan,” Mayer wrote in an Instagram post.”What he’s accomplished is truly phenomenal, and to share the bill with him was a real honor.”
Bryan responded to Mayer’s post, stating: “couldn’t have done it without you John! We love ya!”
The attendance surpasses previous records, including Michael Jackson’s performances to audiences exceeding 100,000, taylor Swift’s 96,000 fans in Melbourne, Australia, during her 2024 Eras Tour, and The Beatles’ 55,600 at new York’s Shea Stadium in 1965.
