Sydney-based electronic artist Yes Boone has signed with Warner Music Australasia through a partnership with Warner Records in the United States, bringing his rising profile in the dance music sector to a major global roster. The announcement arrives as the local electronic scene experiences heightened commercial momentum, highlighted by major festival sellouts across Australia.
From Independent Charts to Global Roster
The photogenic DJ and producer enters the Warner fold following a strong run on independent charts. According to independent music industry data, Yes Boone was shortlisted for breakthrough independent artist of the year at the 2026 AIR Awards, which were presented in Adelaide. Last year, his single “All I Really Want” secured a top 10 position on the Australian Independent Record Labels Association (AIR) Independent Singles Chart, peaking at No. 9, while also entering the ARIA Top 20 Australian Singles Chart.
Reflecting on the milestone in a social media post, the artist shared that he has been writing music, playing international shows, and making new tracks ready for release. Dan Rosen, president of Australasia at Warner Music Group, formally introduced the artist to industry guests during the label’s Listen Up showcase event at The Press in central Sydney. “Our latest signing, we’re going to take him to the world,” Rosen told the packed house, preceding a live set of original works performed by Yes Boone.
