The participant from the 2024 television program Boer zkt vrouw has entered a new relationship, Nieuwsblad reported. He is currently dating a woman whose identity has not been publicly disclosed.

The Weight of a Failed Farm Life Partnership

The new romance marks a sharp transition following a difficult period earlier this year. During his appearance on Boer zkt vrouw, Rummens formed a strong connection with Joline Verhasselt. That connection led him to send other participating women home early.

The pair subsequently moved in together. They initially stayed at his parental home before relocating to their own studio on the farm in Tienen. However, the relationship ended when farm life proved unsuited for Verhasselt.

Coping with Sudden Heartbreak

The separation brought significant personal strain. In an interview with Dag Allemaal cited by Nieuwsblad, Rummens revealed he lost 16 kilograms in a single month following the unexpected breakup. The toll prompted him to seek guidance from host Dina Tersago and the show’s television psychologist.

Festival Meeting Sparks Local Romance
