Yamila Reyna Files Complaint Against Americo After Alleged Assault

Argentine singer Yamila Reyna has filed a formal complaint against her partner, Chilean singer Américo, alleging an incident of domestic violence, according to reports from Chilean media outlets. The complaint follows the couple’s recent separation and allegations of a physical altercation that occurred after a performance at the Oro Verde Festival in Empedrado, Maule Region.

Journalist Cecilia Gutiérrez, who initially reported on the couple’s split, stated on her Instagram account that Reyna visited a police station in Vitacura to finalize the complaint. “She was there today, as I say, at the Vitacura police station, finalizing that complaint [against Américo],” Gutiérrez reported. She clarified that she does not recognize the specific legal classification of the complaint, stating, “I don’t have a clear idea of the charge; I would be lying if I told you specifically why she filed it.”

Details emerging from Chilean news sources indicate the alleged incident took place at a gas station following Américo’s performance. Reyna reportedly accused Domingo Vega (Américo’s legal name) of physical aggression, verbal abuse, and damaging her mobile phone. The filing of the formal complaint introduces a legal dimension to the highly publicized breakup.

As of February 12, 2026, Américo has not publicly responded to the allegations. Further developments are expected as the investigation proceeds.
