Xiaomi 17T Spotted in IMEI Database,Potential Early 2026 Release
Jakarta,Indonesia - A Xiaomi device believed to be the Xiaomi 17T has appeared in the IMEI database,signaling its development and potentially an earlier-than-expected release. While the Xiaomi 15T series launched in late September 2025, the emergence of the 17T suggests Xiaomi may skip a ”16T” designation, mirroring a recent shift to the Xiaomi 17 series following Apple’s product naming conventions.
the device, identified by a code number beginning with “2602,” could launch as early as Febuary 2026 – preceding the typical release timeframe for xiaomi’s T series. Internally, the phones have been developed under the codenames “Chagall” and “Warhol.”
Reports indicate the Xiaomi 17T is highly likely to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset,while a potential 17T Pro variant may feature the more powerful Dimensity 9500. This compares to the Dimensity 8400 and Dimensity 9400+ SOCs found in the 15T and 15T Pro, respectively.
The T series is positioned as a more affordable choice to Xiaomi’s flagship phones, and the naming is expected to align with the company’s premium series.
