Xbox is currently offering discounts on a range of games as part of its Lunar Modern Year sale, which runs until February 25th. The sale includes savings of up to 80% on select titles, according to listings on the Xbox website.
Among the available deals is a “Lunar New Year Bundle” priced at €4.99, which includes in-game items such as Lunar New Year Lanterns, a Lucky Cat Statue, an Oriental Folding Wall, and Red Flower Arrangements. This bundle requires a separate game purchase to utilize. The bundle is published by PQube and developed by MassHive Media, and was released on January 5, 2024, and is compatible with Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles.
The sale also features discounted pricing on titles like Battlefield, which is available for $45.49, a 35% reduction from its original price of $69.99. An ID@Xbox multiplayer sale is also running concurrently, with games reaching what retailers are calling their “lowest price ever.”
Xbox previously celebrated the Lunar New Year in 2022 with a limited edition Xbox Series S console and Wireless Controller designed by Chinese cartoon artist Bu2ma, inspired by the Year of the Tiger. Fifteen custom consoles and controllers were created, featuring red and gold colors to represent wellbeing, and fortune. A sweepstakes was held to give fans the opportunity to win the exclusive set.
