Specifically, Turnbull recommended AI for tasks such as CV writing, LinkedIn profile optimization, and even providing emotional support to those struggling with confidence after losing their jobs. He suggested the AI act as a job coach, while adding the caveat that “no AI tool is a replacement for your voice.” However, critics found his message sounded more like a marketing pitch for generative AI.
