WWE Elimination Chamber 2025: Belair Wins, Cargill Returns – Match Recap & Highlights

by Alex Carter - Sports Editor

Jade Cargill’s return to WWE at the 2025 Elimination Chamber event dramatically altered the course of the Women’s Championship match, immediately targeting Naomi and prompting a stunning confession that has fractured a prominent tag team.

Cargill stormed the ring just before the start of the match, initially appearing to target Liv Morgan, who was scheduled to begin the contest against Naomi. However, Cargill’s aggression quickly focused on Naomi, delivering a brutal assault that forced her withdrawal from the Chamber match. Bianca Belair, watching from within her pod, displayed a visible and emotional reaction to the attack.

The Elimination Chamber match ultimately proceeded with Alexa Bliss, Roxanne Perez, Bayley, Liv Morgan and Belair. Morgan and Perez engaged in early competition, with Perez demonstrating a strong performance against both Morgan, and Bayley. Bliss entered the match to a positive crowd response, and the competitors began a series of eliminations. Bayley was the first to be removed, falling victim to Morgan’s Oblivion. Belair then engaged in a physical battle with Morgan, culminating in a cross body splash that took out multiple opponents.

A tower of doom spot followed, leading to Perez’s elimination by Bliss. Morgan then eliminated Bliss with a jackknife pin after Bliss had executed the Sister Abigail on Belair. The match concluded with a hard-fought contest between Belair and Morgan, with Belair ultimately securing the victory with a KOD after countering Morgan’s Oblivion attempt.

While the in-ring action was compelling, the fallout from Cargill’s attack and the subsequent revelation of Naomi’s involvement has dominated the narrative. Following the match, and in a segment on SmackDown, Naomi admitted to attacking Cargill over three months prior, a confession prompted by Belair’s persistent questioning. According to reports, Naomi initially attempted to deflect the inquiry, focusing instead on regaining the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Belair, visibly distraught by Naomi’s admission, announced the end of their partnership. Naomi responded by accusing Belair of being ungrateful, claiming she acted in Belair’s best interest. Cargill then reappeared, delivering a finishing move to Naomi as Belair stood by without intervention.

The situation remains tense, with Jade Cargill indicating on the Babyfaces Podcast that her storyline with Belair and Naomi is far from resolved. Bianca Belair has publicly dismissed any suggestion of her involvement in the initial attack on Cargill, emphatically denying any responsibility. The future of the relationships between these three competitors remains uncertain.
