Wrestling Revolver holds Tales from the Ring IX event in Dayton
Wrestling Revolver returned to Dayton on Oct. 2 with an eight-match card titled “Tales from the Ring IX” at the Calumet Center, thepostathens.com reported.
Championship Bouts and Title Defences
Revolver World Champion Damian Chambers successfully retained his title against Mance Warner in a no-disqualification match. Born and raised in Columbus, Chambers referred to Ohio as home and mentioned how working his way up in Revolver made the championship win meaningful. When asked for advice directed at fellow Ohioans, Chambers stated, When you think you’re doing enough work, do more.
Gringo Loco also secured gold during the event, capturing the Revolver 24/7 Scramble Championship. Gringo Loco praised the audience and the production standards, noting that the company operates as a professional wrestling organisation to the highest extent.
The event concluded with OI4K retaining the Revolver World Tag Team Championships in a scaffold warfare match. Dezmond Xavier made a surprise appearance to assist his fellow competitors, while tag team partner Zachary Wentz referred to the promotion as home. Xavier noted that performing in his Dayton backyard carried special meaning, telling students to bet on themselves because nothing is guaranteed.

Talent Perspectives and Behind-the-Scenes Growth
Ohio pride featured heavily among the roster, with Alpha Sigma Sigma members KC Jacobs and Dick Meyers discussing the local crowd. Jacobs noted that wrestling locally feels distinct when born and raised in the state, while Meyers compared the regional passion to Ohio’s devotion to its broader sports teams.
Alex Colon defeated Krule in a coffin match, praising the Midwest crowd for appreciating multiple styles of wrestling rather than just one. In another match, Juni Underwood teamed with Ace Austin in a losing effort against Lio Rush and Charles Crowley. Underwood stated that reaching Revolver required significant work and dedication to the craft.
Ace Austin reflected on a long-standing connection to the state, having moved there in 2017 while local fans watched his career develop. Behind the scenes, Phil Stamper credited the Dayton audience’s energy with driving the show forward.
Content creator Connor Thornton made his commentary debut after 10 years of creating content, thanking Revolver for the opportunity. Crash described moving to Ohio after a college football career as the best decision of his life, advising others to commit fully rather than chasing goals halfheartedly. BDE similarly credited Revolver with offering an opportunity when others doubted a wrestling YouTuber, encouraging others who face unfavorable odds to believe in their own abilities.
