Jaume Masià of Orelac Racing Verdnatura Ducati won the first race of the 2026 Supersport World Championship at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit in Australia on Saturday, February 21, 2026. Masià also recorded the fastest lap during the race.
The 2026 Supersport World Championship is the 30th season of the Supersport World Championship class, and is run as part of the 39th season of the Superbike World Championship. The season calendar includes eleven rounds at various international circuits, concluding at the Circuito de Jerez in Spain on October 18, 2026.
Following the Australian round, the championship moves to the Algarve International Circuit in Portugal for races on March 28th and 29th. Subsequent rounds are scheduled for the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands (April 18-19), the Balaton Park Circuit in Hungary (May 2-3), and the Autodrom Most in the Czech Republic (May 16-17). The series will then visit MotorLand Aragón in Spain (May 30-31), Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Italy (June 13-14), Donington Park in the UK (July 11-12), Circuit de Nevers Magny-Cours in France (September 5-6), Cremona Circuit in Italy (September 26-27), Circuito do Estoril in Portugal (October 10-11), and finally, Circuito de Jerez in Spain (October 17-18).
The 2025 Supersport World Championship concluded with Stefano Manzi as the champion, with Can Öncü finishing second and Jaume Masià third. The 2026 entry list has been published, but specific team and rider details beyond the opening race results are not yet available.
