World’s Longest Strudel: Croatia Breaks Guinness Record

Croatian Village Bakes Its Way into record Books with three-Kilometer Strudel

Jaškovo, Croatia – september 7, 2025 – A Croatian village has achieved a new world record for the ​longest strudel⁣ chain, stretching an astounding three kilometers. The culinary feat, ‌accomplished in Jaškovo, located ​66 kilometers from Zagreb, surpasses previous records and ‍solidifies Croatia’s reputation‍ for customary​ baking.

This record-breaking strudel builds on a tradition of ambitious baking projects in the region.‌ Jaškovo previously created a 1.5-kilometer strudel in a prior ⁣attempt,but ⁣was ultimately bested in 2019 by the ⁢settlement of Kiseljak,which assembled a 1.7-kilometer chain comprised of nearly six thousand individual strudels. The Guinness World ‌Records officially recognized Kiseljak’s achievement, and Jaškovo’s ⁣latest effort aims to reclaim the title and ⁣showcase Croatian culinary heritage.

The strudel was created on ⁤September 7, 2025, with the support of local bakers and​ community members.
