World of Warcraft: Forever launches Skyborn Mythic bundle pets
World of Warcraft: Forever officially launched on November 5, 2026, introducing a suite of digital collectibles for players who secured the Skyborn Mythic Bundle. The release, which followed the announcement at BlizzCon 2026, includes four distinct non-combat pets: Baby Diablo, Baby Panda, Zergling, and Pachimari. According to the blog WoW Forever, these items are available to users who purchased the Skyborn Mythic Bundle through the Blizzard Shop.
The inclusion of these four pets mirrors the collection model seen in the retail version of the game, though they are specifically tailored for the Forever environment. While Baby Diablo, the Baby Panda, and the Zergling hold historical significance as rewards from the 2004 World of Warcraft original collector’s edition, the Forever iteration features updated modeling. Pachimari, a character originating from the Overwatch franchise, is also included in the bundle.
Players can access these items by utilizing the in-game pet interface, where they appear as gift-wrapped assets upon initial acquisition. As noted by the source, these creatures function as non-combat companions that follow the player character. They do not possess active combat utility, nor do they require feeding or provide item-gathering functions. The launch of these assets coincides with the broader rollout of the Forever platform, which includes transmog sets, mounts, and toys alongside these pets.
The technical deployment of the game on November 5 saw players face initial connectivity hurdles around 8:10 a.m.; those who tried to connect before 8:00 a.m. were disconnected, and although a server selection screen appeared, it could not be selected. The integration of these pets into the Skyborn Mythic Bundle offers a pathway for current players to obtain legacy-style companions that were previously limited to early retail editions.
