Malaysian Badminton Coach Wong Tat meng Shares Positive Recovery Update Following Sydney Accident
Sydney, Australia – In a video released today, Malaysian badminton coach Wong tat Meng provided a hopeful update on his recovery from serious injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident near Sydney last month. The 58-year-old, a veteran figure in Malaysian badminton, was critically injured on September 7 when his motorcycle collided with another vehicle.
Wong was airlifted to a hospital after the accident, which tragically resulted in the death of the other rider. He suffered multiple fractures to his hip,legs,face,shoulders,and neck,as well as severe head and spinal trauma. Following several complex surgeries, he was transferred to a specialized spinal rehabilitation hospital.
Roketto Badminton has been sharing updates on Wong’s progress, reporting he has gradually stabilized and is now alert and communicating.
In the video message, wong Tat Meng appeared in his hospital bed and addressed his supporters, stating, “Hello friends,” Wong said.”just to inform you guys that I’m recovering quite well.
