COLUMBIA, Mo. – The Missouri State University Eagles women’s golf team heads west this week to compete in the johnie Imes Invitational, hosted at The Club at Olde Hawthorne. Play begins Monday, with teams battling over 54 holes on the par-72, 6,264-yard course.
The invitational presents a key early-season test for the Eagles, featuring a competitive field including Cincinnati, UAB, Murray State, Missouri State, Wichita State, Missouri, Howard, north Alabama, East Texas A&M, South Dakota State, Kentucky, Omaha, and South Dakota. The tournament offers a valuable chance for the team to gauge its progress and build momentum as it navigates the fall season.
Leading the charge for Missouri State will be Tuva Marie Isebakke, who tied for 11th place at the recent opening event with a three-round score of 69-74-67–210. Isebakke will once again anchor the Eagles’ lineup.
Also returning to the lineup is Amelia Rae Greenlee, who delivered a top-20 finish at last year’s imes Invitational, carding rounds of 78 and 71 for a 149 total. Joining them will be Isabella Wiley, Claudia Hofmeister, and Greenlee, forming the core of the team’s competitive five.
