Another chapter was added to the dispute over the drinking water wells built in Hofstetten by the Zweckverband Fernwasserversorgung Mittelmain (FWM) in Hofstetten, but they were apparently unsuitable. This time, Ferdinand Heilgenthal (Chairman), Reiner Mehrlich (Deputy Chairman) and Ferdinand Haas (Assessor) from the BĂĽrgerinitiative Wasser eV from the GemĂĽnden district of Hofstetten made their way to the Administrative Court of WĂĽrzburg. They want the unwanted wells and groundwater measuring points to finally go away. The Main-Spessart district office has wanted this for years.
Will unsuitable wells still be needed in the future?
