Daily Operations and Program Implementation in Wichita
The incoming coach will coordinate day-to-day operations and organizational culture initiatives for the Minnesota Twins. Responsibilities include designing individual off-season strength and conditioning programs. Players will execute these plans either at the Fort Myers Complex or virtually during the off-season. The role requires working within an integrated High-Performance staff that covers sports medicine, performance science, performance psychology, and performance nutrition. This multidisciplinary team collaborates on rehabilitation schedules and return-to-play protocols for Minor League athletes.
Technology Integration and Cross-Departmental Collaboration
Daily duties involve integrating innovative technologies and supporting performance fueling considerations alongside sports nutrition staff. The coach will work directly with Minor League field staff on movement mechanics linked to baseball skill acquisition, specifically connecting physical body movement to hitting and pitching mechanics. Monthly and weekly movement assessments will dictate individualized development plans. The position demands close coordination with athletic trainers and physical therapists during player rehabilitation phases.

Required Certifications and Professional Qualifications
Applicants must hold current CSCS certifications through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) in good standing. CPR and AED certifications are mandatory requirements. Candidates need a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science, Sports Coaching, Sports Management, or a related field. The organization requires a minimum of one year of experience in a strength and conditioning program within professional baseball, a collegiate setting, or a private facility. Preferred qualifications include RSCC and CPSS certifications through the NSCA, alongside experience with motion capture, wearable technology systems, force plates, and VALD technologies, as well as FMS, SFMA, FRC, PRI, or DNS principles.
The position requires a willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as dictated by the baseball schedule, with the capability to connect with non-English speaking players and staff.
