Snow Man stars to Face Electrifying Challenge on Fuji TV‘s ‘Prank GP‘

Tokyo, Japan – Members of the popular japanese idol group Snow Man are set to participate in a high-stakes prank challenge on Fuji Television’s “Celebrities Seriously Thinking! Prank GP Prank Saves the Earth 4-Hour Television SP,” airing August 30th. Watanabe Shota, Abe ryohei, and Miyadate Ryota will join other prominent celebrities in a unique game show format.

The special episode, titled “Bom Serious Explosion tonight! Who is the most dangerous guy in Snow Man?” centers around a wordplay game with a shocking twist. Participants,including Snow Man members,must navigate difficult phrases without stumbling. Failure to do so results in an electric shock delivered through their chairs.this concept builds on the show’s premise of celebrities becoming the subjects of elaborate pranks, then devising their own.
Mukai Yasuji of Snow Man is also participating, and expressed his dismay at the prospect of the game, stating, “I hate Bomb Seriously! I’d rather be allowed to spin than do this!” The members were initially misled into believing they were being interviewed for a music program before the prank was revealed.
Guest Stars and Show Format
“Celebrities seriously Thinking! Prank GP” is hosted by Higashino Koji and Koike Eiko. Regular “prank creators” include Kikuchi Fuma (Timeles), Mukai Yasuji (Snow Man), and Matsuda Tsuta (Travis japan). The August 30th broadcast will also feature appearances from Megumi Toshiaki, Sakai Takashi (The Mammy), Yamamoto koji (Time Machine No. 3), and Mizushobouzu (Impulse).

Snow Man Members reflect on the Challenge
Watanabe Shota described the studio atmosphere as “radiant red,” signaling the intensity of the challenge. He noted his initial apprehension but ultimately embraced the experience, stating, “I think it was good that I was able to go to the fullest without being too careful.”
Abe Ryohei admitted to feeling nervous during the game, occasionally losing focus. He expressed respect for the other participants who have repeatedly taken on such difficult challenges.
Miyadate Ryota confessed to being in potentially the worst condition of the group, citing an unfavorable seating arrangement. He emphasized the importance of trust and camaraderie within the group, describing their participation as a form of “pro wrestling.”
