WhatsApp Rolls out ‘Remind‘ Feature to iOS Users, Alongside Call scheduling
WhatsApp has begun releasing its “Remind” feature to iOS users with the latest update (version 25.25.74), allowing users to set reminders for messages within chats. While not universally available through the standard App Store update, users can access the newest version by visiting WhatsApp’s page directly within the App Store and manually pressing the ”Update” button if necessary.
The ”Remind” function, previously tested in beta, enables users to pin a message to the top of a chat for up to 30 days. This is achieved through the context menu within a conversation. Alongside the ”Remind” feature, the update also introduces the ability to schedule calls directly within the WhatsApp “Calls” tab, indicated by a plus sign. The feature addresses a common user need for message follow-up and task management directly within the messaging platform, perhaps reducing reliance on external reminder apps.
