A ⁤taxi driver in Thiruvananthapuram,kerala,was violently threatened by a passenger who demanded ‍to be ⁣driven to⁣ a cemetery,police ⁣reported Saturday. The incident occurred late⁢ Friday night, with ⁣the passenger ⁢allegedly brandishing ‍a stick ‌and physically assaulting the⁣ driver.The ⁤driver,identified ⁤as Rajeev,recounted⁣ to police ‍that‌ the passenger,whose identity remains unconfirmed,boarded his taxi and initially requested a destination within the city. Mid-journey, the passenger abruptly demanded to be taken‍ to a cemetery, becoming increasingly agitated when Rajeev expressed hesitation. ‍ The⁢ situation escalated when the​ passenger ⁢reportedly ⁤pressed the stick against Rajeev’s neck and‍ shook him, demanding immediate‍ compliance. Rajeev managed to safely‌ stop the​ taxi and alert authorities.
