French-Made Look Keo Blade Power ⁤Pedals Aim to Redefine Cycling Metrics

PARIS – Look, the renowned French cycling component manufacturer, ⁤has launched its Keo Blade ⁤Power⁣ pedals, ⁢integrating power sensors directly into a familiar⁢ pedal design. Available in Dual (measuring power at both pedals) for €999 and Single (one pedal) versions for €659, the Keo Blade⁣ Power pedals challenge established players like Garmin and ⁢Favero ⁣with a focus on ease of use,⁢ reliability,‌ and a premium⁢ build.

The pedals boast an autonomy allowing for⁢ approximately‍ ten years of‍ use with⁢ minimal capacity loss – less than 20%⁤ after 300 complete charge cycles – ‌and a full charge ‍takes two hours.Look advises against overnight ‍charging to maximize battery‌ lifespan. Riders can monitor battery life via a dedicated application or through alerts on their cycling ‍computer, with⁢ sufficient reserve power to complete rides ‌even⁣ when low.

“We ⁢are in the presence of one of the best pairs of pedals‍ that ⁤I ‌have used, power⁢ sensor ‍present or not,” a reviewer ⁤noted, highlighting the pedals’ overall quality.‍

Compared to competitors, the Look Keo Blade Power Dual is priced at €999, a €100 premium⁣ over garmin’s ⁣Rally RK200. ‍The Single version is priced competitively against the ⁣Garmin RK100,‍ differing by only €60. The pedals also offer an advantage over some power ⁢meter systems by⁣ requiring no ⁣adjustments to saddle position during installation, mirroring ⁤the fit of standard Keo Blade pedals. Assioma favero⁤ Duo‍ pedals, priced at ⁣€659 for a dual-sensor set, represent ‌another point ⁣of comparison, though⁣ the look pedals are⁣ positioned as a‍ more premium offering.
