Watch Beabadoobee Debut Pylon Title Track at Red Rocks

August 10, 2026 Emma Walker – News Editor News

On August 7, singer-songwriter Beabadoobee debuted the stripped-back acoustic title track of her upcoming album ‘Pylon’ during an encore performance at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado, as reported by NME. The live debut anchors her final run of United States dates before launching a major arena world tour this October in support of her fourth studio record.

The track list for the evening spanned twenty-two songs, incorporating four selections from her forthcoming album cycle. Alongside the debut of ‘Pylon’, the set featured previously released singles ‘Sun Has Set’ and ‘Switchblade’, alongside ‘Memories’, which marked its fourth live appearance and is slated for an official release on August 20.

Touring Realities and the Red Rocks Live Debut

“I’m really sorry if I fuck it up,” she told the amphitheatre audience, adding, “This is the first time I’m ever playing it.” Armed only with an acoustic guitar, she delivered the raw version of ‘Pylon’ to conclude her performance.

Album Rollout and Collaborative Frameworks

The upcoming fourth studio album serves as the direct follow-up to her 2024 record, ‘This Is How Tomorrow Moves’, which earned a four-star review from NME describing it as “a collection of songs that showcase the tangled feelings of this time, the young artist’s third record is a poignant, powerful thing.” The new project is scheduled for release on September 18 through Dirty Hit and Interscope records.

Production and guest credits on the forthcoming release feature a wide array of prominent alternative musicians. Hayley Williams appears on the track ‘Nothing To Prove’, while Turnstile frontman Brendan Yates contributes to ‘Powerlines’. Additional contributions come from Pinegrove’s Evan Stephens Hall, Deftones’ Chino Moreno, and Title Fight’s Shane Morgan. Furthermore, The 1975 members Matty Healy and George Daniel produced the track ‘Write Me A Letter’.

Earlier in the year, the artist collaborated with The Marías on the standalone single ‘All I Did Was Dream Of You’, accompanied by a music video inspired by Yorgos Lanthimos’ film ‘Bugonia’. She also recorded a cover of Elliott Smith’s ‘Say Yes’ for the War Child compilation album ‘Help(2)’.

Global Tour Logistics and Infrastructure Planning

The extensive ‘Powerlines’ world tour is scheduled to officially launch on October 1 in Uncasville, Connecticut. Following the North American leg, the itinerary moves to the United Kingdom in November, featuring major headlining arena performances in Glasgow, Cardiff, Manchester, and London.

As the September 18 release date for ‘Pylon’ approaches alongside the impending autumn tour dates, the convergence of live performance debuts and high-profile studio collaborations highlights a demanding operational phase for modern independent artists.
