Warwickshire County Cricket ⁤Club has confirmed a return to its historic ground, Edgbaston, as the home⁣ venue for all its⁣ matches from 2026, ⁤ending a six-year period playing at other locations. The decision, announced November 26, ‌2025, marks a meaningful homecoming for the⁤ Bears, solidifying Edgbaston’s position as a‌ central hub for cricket in the region.

The move follows a⁤ period​ of strategic review by the club, during which logistical and financial considerations prompted a temporary relocation of matches. However, with infrastructure improvements completed and a renewed commitment to Edgbaston, Warwickshire will ​once again ‍host all its home fixtures at the iconic venue.This impacts players, fans, and the wider Birmingham sports economy, ensuring continued investment and accessibility for the ​local community. The club anticipates increased attendance and‌ revenue streams with the return, bolstering its long-term sustainability.
