Killeen Fire Captain’s Family Receives Generous Donation from local Walmarts
KILLEEN, Texas – In a gesture of community support, multiple Walmart stores across Bell County have united to provide a meaningful donation to the family of Killeen Fire captain Marvin Taylor III, who tragically passed away in a car accident on May 11.
A Collective Effort
The Killeen Professional Fire Fighter’s Association (KPFFA) announced that six walmart stores in the Killeen area contributed a total of $1,000 in gift cards to Captain Taylor’s family.This collaborative effort underscores the community’s commitment to supporting those affected by the loss of a dedicated public servant.

Tragic Circumstances
According to the City of Killeen, Captain Taylor was fatally rear-ended by a speeding vehicle. Police have arrested the driver of the vehicle in connection with the incident. The loss of Captain Taylor has been felt deeply within the Killeen Fire Department adn the broader community.
