Two Virginia Cavaliers Advance to ITA East Sectional Competition
Princeton, N.J. – Mans Dahlberg adn Andrew Delgado will represent the Virginia Men’s Tennis program at the ITA East Sectional Championships, begining November 6th. Dahlberg,a Cavalier,is seeded 16th in the singles draw,while Delgado,ranked #100 nationally,holds the seventh seed.
The ITA East Sectional, hosted at Princeton University, serves as a crucial early-season test for regional collegiate players. Competition commenced November 6th with Rounds of 32 in both singles and doubles play. The tournament continues thru November 9th, culminating in championship matches for singles and doubles, as well as consolation brackets. Successful performances at the ITA East Sectional can significantly boost players’ regional and national rankings, impacting seeding for future tournaments and potential All-American selections.
Dahlberg is scheduled to face Delgado in the round of 16 on November 7th. the tournament schedule includes singles and doubles play across four days:

* November 7th: Singles Round of 16, Singles Consolation Round of 16, Doubles Quarterfinals, Doubles Consolation Quarterfinals
