This Friday, the Dijon supporters’ parking lot in Martigues was stormed by around fifteen individuals, reports The public good. Hooded and armed with smoke bombs, the latter – whose membership has not yet been revealed – burst in while, on the ground, the DFCO was losing against the MartĂ©gaux. Blows were exchanged and several tarpaulins of the Dijon ultras, the Lingon’s Boys, were reportedly stolen.

Seriously injured, a Dijon resident is currently in hospital after “received a smoke bomb in the throat”, according to a witness to the attack. Close to the parking lot, the players themselves were confused by the events.
