Vine Surf Club Documents Summer Surf Programs
A photograph taken by Vine Surf Club on August 2, 2025, documents the club’s ongoing surf programs. The club, with locations in Busan, South Korea, operates two branches: Cafe VINE in Suyeong and VINE SURF in Songjeong.
The documentation of these programs coincides with a broader effort to facilitate action sports events globally, as powered by Liveheats, a platform used for live scoring, heat draws, registrations, and rankings in surf, skate, snow, and surf life saving competitions. Liveheats supports events run by local clubs, regional, state, and national federations worldwide.
Details regarding summer surf programs in the United States, specifically through the California Surf Club, were also made available in August, with event listings accessible through the PeopleVine app. A flyer from the Los Angeles Parks and Recreation department, dated May 22, 2025, outlines a “Learn to Surf” program with sessions running from July through August at various locations including Algin Sutton and Glassell Park. The flyer notes accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities with prior arrangement.
The Los Angeles program includes Session #6, running July 21-25, Session #7, running July 28-August 1, and Session #8, running August 4-8.
The Vine Surf Club has not released details regarding future programming.
