Nguyen Huy, Head of Technology at the National Data Association, described NDAChain as a “protective layer” engineered for scalability to accommodate growing data volumes. The platform incorporates privacy tools that allow for the verification of digital records, such as medical files and academic transcripts, without revealing sensitive personal information. Its permissioned architecture grants authorities control over network participation.
Phased Implementation and Future Development
The full integration of NDAChain with the National Data Center is slated for completion by December 31, 2025. Following this, the platform’s rollout will extend to local government agencies and educational institutions. The development of industry-specific Layer 2 applications is anticipated in 2026.
These future applications are expected to include identity wallets, systems for preventing counterfeiting, and digital notary services. These add-on solutions will operate on top of the ndachain core network without requiring modifications to its essential structure.
strategic alignment with National Digital Agenda
Vietnam’s adoption of NDAChain is a direct reflection of its commitment to its National Blockchain Strategy. The recent law enacted in June 2025, which officially recognizes digital assets, further solidifies the country’s forward-looking approach to digital change.
