The complexity of the recording process contributed to a longer production timeline, but Paul embraced the challenge, noting the opportunity to deliver diverse narratives.
“With him in particular – not giving too much away - the dynamic with a lot of the characters are drastically different because of the gamers’ decisions,” Paul said. “That was a little intricate for me. I think this is why it took so long to record. But it was an interesting challenge as you’re just telling such a different narrative and you gotta respond accordingly.”
Despite the multitude of potential outcomes for Robert, paul revealed he doesn’t favor one particular ending for the character in Episode 8. He believes each path is compelling and leaves audiences anticipating future developments, regardless of the chosen route.
“Actually, you know what? No, I really don’t. They’re all so interesting and it leaves the audience, I think, wanting more, no matter where you land, wich is unique,” Paul said. “I don’t want to give too much away, but ther’s definitely paths that you can take that completely land you somewhere entirely different towards the end and the path forward is like, God knows where that leads, which is really interesting.”
