Versaterm and Vantage Robotics Integrate Drones for Public Safety Missions
RESTON, VA – Versaterm, a public safety technology company, has partnered with Vantage Robotics to integrate the Vesper and Trace Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) into versaterm’s DroneSense platform. The collaboration expands Versaterm’s offerings of secure, National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)-compliant, Blue UAS cleared drones for use in mission-critical public safety operations.
The integration provides agencies with additional options for aerial intelligence gathering, enhancing situational awareness and compliance. versaterm highlighted the Vesper’s capabilities for rapid deployment, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions, and precision imaging. Both the Vesper and Trace are cleared through the Blue UAS program, ensuring a secure and compliant solution for public safety professionals.
“The addition of Vantage Robotics’ uavs reflects our vision for a new era of public safety where agencies can deploy high-performance drones as seamlessly as they dispatch patrol units,” said Christopher Eyhorn, General Manager of DroneSense by Versaterm. “UAVs are poised to become an essential part of the modern response toolkit.”
The Vesper drone features a low acoustic signature, modular design, and best-in-class low-light capabilities. It is currently available for use within the DroneSense platform, with the Trace UAV expected to be integrated soon.
This partnership underscores a growing trend toward utilizing American-made, NDAA-compliant drones within public safety sectors, addressing security concerns and ensuring data integrity.
