Claas Unveils New Axion 9 Series,Awarded Silver Medal at Agritechnica 2025
Hannover,Germany – Claas has launched the new Axion 9 series of tractors at Agritechnica 2025,boasting a range of seven models from 330 to 450 horsepower. The series includes two Terra Tracs options featuring new four-width conveyor belts, and an optional CTIC system for front wheel pressure regulation. The unveiling comes as demand grows for large, powerful, and efficient agricultural machinery.
The Axion 9 builds upon the strengths of its predecessor while incorporating new technologies aimed at reducing operating costs and improving performance. Key features include Auto droop and Auto Load Anticipation functions. Auto Droop lowers engine speed when acceleration can be achieved through the gearbox, while Auto Load Anticipation proactively adjusts speed to avoid unnecessary fuel increases during load changes – a feature recognized with a silver medal at the Agritechnica fair.
The new series is designed to appeal to customers requiring high-horsepower tractors, with Claas emphasizing faster return on investment through increased standard equipment and innovative solutions. The company believes the Axion 9 will be a strong competitor in its segment, maintaining the positive attributes of the previous generation while offering important advancements.
