We remain⁤ firmly committed to fostering consensus within the Council, and will continue to explore co-penning ⁣initiatives where mutually beneficial, as demonstrated by our work with ⁣African‍ Council members on Libya and Sudan.

We recognize the disruption caused ‌by the delay in appointing subsidiary body chairs this year. We look ⁣forward to collaborating with current ‍and incoming⁣ Council members to reach an agreement for 2026, ensuring sufficient planning time‍ for incoming Chairs.
