UIN⁣ Jakarta Hosts Microsoft 365 Account‍ Activation Training ‌for ​Incoming Students

UIN jakarta recently held a socialization⁤ event to guide new students through the ‍activation ⁢process for their Microsoft‍ 365 accounts. The ⁣training, led by⁤ Reza ⁤Alamsyah, S.Kom, and Mahbubul‍ Wathoni, M.Kom, MTI, focused on ensuring students can seamlessly access⁢ essential digital tools for their studies.Mahbubul Wathoni detailed the account activation procedure, instructing students to access the activation ‌page and log in ‍using their official UIN‌ Jakarta ⁢credentials.He emphasized the ‍importance of creating strong ​passwords – a minimum of eight characters combining​ uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols‌ – advising against using easily guessable ⁤facts like birthdates or phone ⁤numbers.

“Use a minimum password of eight characters with a combination ⁢of ⁢capital⁣ letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. Don’t use⁢ the date of ⁢birth or telephone number because it is ‌easy ‌to⁢ guess,” wathoni stated.

Account security was further ⁣reinforced with ⁤a call to register active mobile‍ phone ⁢numbers for verification ⁢purposes.”The⁣ active mobile number must be registered because the system will send a verification ‌code via ​SMS.This is​ part of the‌ security of student accounts,”⁢ Wathoni explained.The ⁤session also introduced students to⁤ key Microsoft 365 features, including Outlook for official⁤ email communication, OneDrive for cloud-based storage, and Microsoft‌ Teams ⁢for‍ online lectures. Wathoni highlighted Teams’ notification system,ensuring students receive immediate updates regarding class​ schedules.
