Silver Generation Boost: Two-Thirds Report Increased Self-Esteem Wiht Age, New Study finds
Madrid, Spain – A new study reveals a surprisingly positive outlook among Spain’s “Silver Generation” (ages 55-75), with two out of three individuals reporting improved self-esteem as they age.The findings, released today from the I Study of the Belsilver Nebrija – L’oréal Groupe Chair in communication, Image and well-being, challenge conventional narratives about aging and self-perception.
The complete research employed a 360º approach, combining a quantitative online survey of 1,000 representative individuals, qualitative ”coffee of the world” dynamics – an innovative collaborative debate method – and artificial intelligence to analyze participant responses. Researchers utilized natural language processing to identify dominant emotions, reasoning patterns, and communicative styles directly from the participants’ own words, avoiding reliance on social media or media portrayals.
