Trump’s Jesus AI Image Sparks Global Controversy and Memes
The Iranian Embassy in Tajikistan has released an AI-generated video depicting Jesus Christ punching President Donald Trump in the face and casting him into a pit of fire.
The video, shared on the social platform X, was produced as a response to an AI-generated image previously posted by President Trump on Truth Social. In the original post, the president appeared in a white robe and red shawl, depicted as healing a man whereas surrounded by a soldier, a nurse, and two other individuals. The imagery included an eagle positioned in front of the U.S. Flag, military jets, and a scene of soldiers ascending toward a light resembling heaven.
President Trump has since deleted the post. He characterized the image as a depiction of himself as a doctor or a Red Cross worker, stating that only “fake news” would suggest otherwise. However, reports indicate that the president discussed the “Jesus” meme with Bill Pulte prior to publishing it.
The response from the Iranian Embassy in Tajikistan has gained significant traction, garnering more than 7 million views by Wednesday morning. The embassy has frequently utilized the X platform to post memes and AI-generated content mocking the United States, including a previous video that depicted the destruction of the Statue of Liberty.
This digital exchange occurs while a ceasefire remains in effect between the United States and Iran. The diplomatic tension follows a series of strikes launched against Iran by the U.S. And Israel at the end of February.
The White House has not provided a comment following an email inquiry regarding the embassy’s video.
