Trump Escalates ⁣Anti-Immigrant Rhetoric, Signaling Shift Beyond Customary Crackdown

WASHINGTON – ⁣Former President Donald Trump has intensified his attacks on non-white immigrants, ⁢moving‍ beyond previous rhetoric ‌focused on criminal deportations too embrace language echoing white⁤ nationalist ideologies, ⁤raising alarms among observers. This shift appears⁢ aimed ⁢at consolidating support from a growing far-right contingent ‍within his base.

Following⁢ the January 6th attack ⁤on the U.S. Capitol, Trump vowed on social media to “remove anyone⁢ who is not a net asset to the United States, or is ‍incapable of loving our Country.” This⁣ statement marked a departure from earlier promises centered on⁣ targeting violent criminals⁤ or those who ⁢had entered the country illegally.

Trump now appears to ‌be appealing to younger, more radical Republican men who reject traditional conservatism. These ‍supporters openly advocate⁣ for a white Christian‌ nation governed by men, with groups like America First, led by Nick Fuentes, gaining prominence.‍ Within the administration, figures like Stephen ⁤Miller have ⁣reportedly pushed policies reflecting similar ideologies.

On February ⁣16th, Trump posted on his Truth Social account a promise⁢ to “denaturalize migrants who undermine domestic⁤ tranquility, and ‌deport any ‍Foreign National who is a⁤ public ⁢charge, ‌security risk, or non-compatible with Western Civilization.” He‌ further stated‌ the goal was to achieve a ⁢”major reduction in illegal and disruptive populations…Only REVERSE MIGRATION can fully cure this situation.”

The Labor‌ Department⁣ recently posted⁣ an image of the Lincoln Memorial using a font associated with the Third⁣ Reich, accompanied by⁢ the text, “[redacted for compliance with safety guidelines].” The post has ⁤since been removed.
