Trump Attacks Powell, Harvard Visa Investigation – Latest Updates

President Donald Trump has once again criticized Jerome Powell, teh chairman of the Federal Reserve.Trump asserts that Powell is “damaging the real estate market for American families, not cutting interest rates.” He stated on Truth Social, “This stubbornness to the Fed does not understand anything. He never understood it and will never understand it. The board should intervene, but it doesn’t have the courage to do it! Our interest rates should be three points lower, making us save a thousand billion dollars a year (as a contry).”

Trump further elaborated, “The real estate sector in our country is late because Jerome ‘Too Late’ Powell refuses to lower interest rates. Families are affected because interest rates are too high, and even our country is forced to pay a higher rate than it should, due to ‘too late.’ Our rate should be three points lower than the current one, allowing us to save a thousand billion dollars a year (as a country).”

in a separate Truth Social post, the president declared, “I will lower the duties only if a country agrees to open its market, or else very high duties.” This new threat from Trump comes as he announced that with the commercial agreement reached with Tokyo, “now the markets of Japan will be open, for the first time. It will be a boom for American business.”
