The well-known starred restaurant Noma, in the Danish capital Copenhagen, will close its doors at the end of 2024. The restaurant announced it on Instagram and the manager and chef René Redzepi confirmed it in an interview with the New York Times. “It’s unsustainable. Financially and emotionally, as an employee and as a person. It just doesn’t work,” says Redzepi.
