New Autumn Fragrances Capture Boldness, Elegance, and contradiction
As the season shifts, a new wave of perfumes emerges, offering scents to define the autumn chapter. From the intriguing contrasts of “Fleur Du Mal” to the classic British refinement of “My Burberry” and the confident sophistication of “Parfums de Marly Palaatine,” the latest fragrances provide a spectrum of olfactory experiences.
“Fleur Du mal” by Quintin Bish presents a deliberately contradictory composition, blending the delicate Osmanthus flower with the warmth of “Swedish skin” and rich peach. Bish explained his intent: “I wanted to make a contradictory fragrance using osmanthos, seemed innocent, but it is vrey sensual, and this flower that seems to be an angel, can become a demonic.” The fragrance transitions from refreshing initial notes to a warm pink heart and a lasting, luxurious skin base.
“My Burberry,” from Burberry, evokes a modern take on British elegance. It opens with citrus and sweet pea, reminiscent of a London park after rain, evolving into a floral bouquet of freesia, golden needle flower, and narcissus.Patchouli, musk, and Damascus rose anchor the scent with a warm, lasting finish.
“Parfums de Marly palaatine Eau de Parfum” embodies boldness and sophistication, inspired by the character of Princess Paltin. The fragrance begins with notes of bergamot and pear, leading to a heart of violet and Lavandin. A base of cream sandalwood, patchouli, musk, and vanilla provides a soft, stable foundation, conveying confidence and self-expression.
