South Korean actress Kong Hyo-jin and singer Kevin Oh have officially tied the knot in a private ceremony held on october 17, 2022, in new York City. The wedding, attended by close friends and family, marks a new chapter for the celebrity couple who announced their engagement in August 2022.
The couple’s relationship began after Kevin Oh appeared on the Korean reality dating show “Single’s Inferno,” where Kong Hyo-jin was a fan. They were first publicly linked in August 2021, and their romance quickly blossomed. Kong hyo-jin, 42, is known for her roles in popular K-dramas such as “It’s Okay, that’s Love,” “Producer,” and “Crash Landing on You.” Kevin Oh, 37, gained recognition as a runner-up on “Superstar K6” and has as established himself as a prosperous singer-songwriter.
Prior to the wedding, Kong Hyo-jin’s agency, Management SOOP, confirmed the nuptials and shared a handwritten wedding invitation from the actress. The invitation revealed the couple’s desire for a small, intimate party. Kevin Oh completed his mandatory military service in April 2022, after which he resumed his music career and preparations for the wedding.
Recent photos circulating online, captured by Korean media outlet iStyle, show the couple looking affectionate during a recent outing. The images highlight Kevin Oh’s more mature appearance following his military service, described as a “fierce man” by the publication. Kong Hyo-jin’s agency has not commented on these recent paparazzi shots.
