TNT Sports and 5 Secure UK Rights for England Tour of Australia
TNT Sports and public service broadcaster 5 have secured the UK broadcast rights for England’s white-ball tour of Australia and the 150th Anniversary Test Match, media.wbdsports.com reported. The new agreements expand TNT Sports’ cricket broadcasting portfolio through the winter and spring, adding multi-format international series across the Southern Hemisphere.
Broadcast Details for England and New Zealand Tours in Australia
England’s limited-overs campaign begins in November 2026, featuring a three-match One Day International series and five T20 internationals across venues including Perth Stadium, the Adelaide Oval, Bellerive Oval, the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Gold Cruast Stadium, The Gabba, the Sydney Cricket Ground, and Manuka Oval. Following the conclusion of the white-ball fixtures, TNT Sports will broadcast New Zealand’s four-Test series in Australia running through December 2026 and January 2027, with matches scheduled at Perth, Adelaide, the MCG, and the SCG. In addition to the men’s fixtures, the network holds the rights to a three-match women’s ODI series between Australia and New Zealand in March 2027.

The centerpiece of the summer schedule is the 150th Anniversary Test Match between Australia and England, scheduled for March 11–15, 2027, at the MCG. This fixture commemorates a century and a half of Test cricket between the oldest adversaries in the sport. Alongside these matches, TNT Sports maintains an existing rights portfolio that covers all of New Zealand’s home internationals and India’s home fixtures, which includes a five-Test series against visiting Australians in early 2027.
TNT Sports and Broadcaster 5 Provide Match Coverage
UK viewers can access live coverage of the fixtures via TNT Sports through HBO Max, with subscription plans starting at £25.99 per month on a standalone 12-month commitment. The network is also available across major television and streaming platforms including EE TV, Prime Video, Sky, and Virgin Media. For broader public access, broadcaster 5 will deliver exclusive highlights packages on its main television channel and streaming platform following each game of England’s limited-overs tour. Production details regarding the coverage of England’s matches in Australia remain pending and will be announced at a later date.
