World’s ⁣worst ⁢Airlines Ranked: Hungarian Carrier Wizz ‍Air Makes the List

BUDAPEST, Hungary – A‌ new ⁢ranking ‍reveals the airlines‍ passengers love to hate, with American Airlines topping ​the ⁢list based on dissatisfaction. The survey, detailed by Startlap.hu, analyzed passenger⁢ ratings, incident reports, and complaint volumes to identify the carriers with ‌the most unhappy customers.

American⁢ Airlines received a passenger rating ⁤of⁤ 2.9/10 and a dissatisfaction index of 56,alongside 11 major incidents. Frontier Airlines followed closely in second place⁤ with a 2.0 rating and tens of millions ‍of dissatisfied passengers annually, coupled with five major operational failures. United Airlines landed ⁤in third (3.3 rating)⁢ due to a high volume of ⁢customer service complaints.

Rounding out the top ten are: Air France (fourth, 11 major ​incidents, baggage issues), ⁣Ryanair ⁣(fifth, 2.8 rating, criticized service‌ model), Air Asia (sixth, barely exceeding 2.8 satisfaction), Aeromexico (seventh, 3.0 rating, six major incidents), Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) (eighth, complaints‍ despite reputation for precision), Wizz Air (ninth, approximately 3.0⁢ rating, frequent delays and customer ⁤service issues), and ​British Airways (tenth, lost ⁢luggage ⁢and over ten‍ operational errors).

“Passengers cannot be impressed just by low ticket prices,” the report states, noting that prestige alone doesn’t guarantee a smooth travel experience. Common complaints across all‌ airlines include delays, cancellations, baggage damage, and poor customer⁢ service. The report advises travelers to review incident records ​and passenger⁤ reviews before booking.
