Start Funds MEAL Officer Prospect with Start Network
Start Network is seeking a motivated MEAL (monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning) Officer to join their team and support the Start Funds, a rapid humanitarian financing mechanism.Reporting to the Crisis Financing MEAL Lead, this role is crucial for strengthening evidence-based learning, performance, and accountability to those affected by crises, donors, members, and partners.
The Start Network’s core purpose is to drive system-level change within the humanitarian sector, improving its efficiency, effectiveness, and ethical standards. They achieve this by fostering collaboration and supporting locally-led crisis response and anticipation through a network of over 100 local, national, and international NGOs, alongside 10 national and regional hubs.
This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative MEAL initiatives within a dynamic humanitarian context. The accomplished candidate will play a key role in ongoing MEAL activities for the Start Funds, enhancing performance, learning, and accountability.
