SIU enters the match following a thrilling 3-2 victory over SIUE on Thursday, fueled by goals from Dory Latenser, Dior Knorr, and No katematical. Assists were provided by Nadi and London Soto, while goalkeeper Lily Murray recorded four saves. The Salukis aim to continue their momentum against a Lindenwood squad thay’ve faced twice previously, resulting in a 1-1 tie in 2023 and a 2-0 Lindenwood win in 2022.
Lindenwood currently holds a 3-1-2 record, most recently playing to a scoreless draw against Belmont. Their last win came on August 21st against Evansville, a fellow Missouri Valley Conference opponent, with a score of 2-1. This contest marks the final game of a road swing for Southern Illinois before returning home.
