Rosenborg ballklub & Frostchips Launch‍ RBK-Potet Gold Chips,Supporting Local Charity

trondheim,Norway – Rosenborg Ballklub (RBK) and Frostchips AS have announced teh launch of “RBK-Potet Gold,” a new potato chip product designed to enhance the ⁣stadium experience and support the Church⁤ City Mission,a charity championed by artist Åge Aleksandersen.⁢ The chips will be available in ‍two variants at Coop stores in central Norway and at Lerkendal Stadium, beginning this weekend with the⁤ match⁢ against Bodø-Glimt.

The idea originated with Frostchips General Manager Tommy Wikmark during ⁤a Rosenborg match ‍last autumn.”I sat at home and saw RBK match on TV. It struck me that something was missing, a real⁣ RBK chips to crunch while cheering on ‍the team,” wikmark said. ⁢”Then the idea was born, and it didn’t take long to sell it to Coop⁤ and the club. For us,⁢ this is about more than snacks. it’s about gathering people, creating a mood ⁢and giving back to both the club and the local community.”

For each bag sold, a remuneration⁢ will be donated to the Church City Mission,‌ at the request of Åge Aleksandersen, who has also contributed the lyrics to the club anthem “Image Tå’n‌ ivers” which will be printed on the back of each bag.

“As a football club, ‌we ⁣are constantly working to develop both on and⁣ off the mat,” stated Tore Bjørseth Berdal, General Manager‌ of Rosenborg Ballklub. “This opportunity emerged through our sponsor Coop, which has ‍a‌ good relationship with Frostchips. ‍The club gets an income ⁢from each bag sold, value is created for the partners, while the audience gets a good product that contributes to the‌ stadium experience. We ‍are proud that Åge said yes to contributing with lyrics on the back of the ⁢bag, and that he ⁤so raw gives ‌his entire remuneration to the Church City Mission.”

The ⁢chips are part of Coop Central Norway’s focus on local ‍food producers, of which Frostchips is one of⁣ 180‍ suppliers. “Ther are an astonishing number of talented local food producers in Trøndelag, and ⁣we have around 1000 different products from 180 different suppliers,” ⁢said Bjørn Vik-Mo, Deputy Managing Director of Coop Central Norway. “The range is usually adapted to each ⁣store, but Trosillchips is something we want to launch in all grocery stores in our region.”

RBK-Potet Gold will be available in over 140 Coop‍ stores in Trøndelag.
